MOOD BOARD PRODUCTION PLAN:
The mood board will take the least amount of time but will demand creative expression and freedom to convey the message I want my audience to view:
– 25 images minimum (including lives and graphics).
– Be creative with the colours on my board and what they mean.
– Consider the placement of the images.
GOALS:
I will use a mood board template from a site to make it more aesthetically pleasing, adding different colours and texts to expand the viewers’ minds to express my passions.
I will make sure that my images don’t clash as they did in my E1 submission and make it clearer. As well as adding more powerful words to express my passion.
FIRST DRAFT:

For my first draft, I felt it was very messy and not aesthetically pleasing as it was quite cluttered. I liked the images that I incorporated I just thought that I could improve how they were presented which is why I decided to change the template. I also felt like there were many free spaces that didn’t make sense in a mood board.
Due to the self-criticism of my first mood board draft, I decided to go for a different type of mood board to give it more meaning as well.
FINAL DRAFT REFLECTION:

I decided to make half of my mood board a more vintage, black-and-white feel to showcase the prior generations and icons that represented the film industry, and their significant role in making it become what it is today. I added the plane to symbolise that many people had to leave everything behind to go to places like Hollywood to even stand a chance to make progress in becoming successful. Marilyn Monroe was a great influence in impacting people to follow their dreams and becoming one of the first women to found her own production company. By incorporating these pictures, I felt as though it shows an important era of film.
The other half of my mood board is the present-day perception of the film industry and the stars. By adding some of my own images, I feel as though it can send a message that anyone is capable of making enjoyable content instead of having to already have some sort of fame. The different film companies also show that many more resources have been found for more films and shows to be broadcast to the world on a global scale. Finally, the use of pictures of women in the limelight represents how far women have come and that they are now looked up to and role models for all girls internationally, showing that anything is possible.
