Creative Writing Reflection

WRITING IDEAS:

– Draw from different influences, styles and literary pieces (famous writers..)

– How did I begin loving film and decide to pursue it.

MY INSPIRATION:

Mentioning Steven Spielberg and his influence on me from the start of my creative writing piece was to establish a major factor in why I decided to pursue film. After reading his biography it inspired me even more as to what he’s accomplished all by himself and his talent. I wanted to clearly reflect this in my writing by making sure to add a specific sector to talk about Spielberg and his success.

WHAT DID I DO WELL?

I think my introduction gets off to a great start by bringing up the idea of dreaming and how it relates to filmmaking through a statement from Steven Spielberg. The quotation also gives my article more credibility and relevance.

Speaking about films’ potential to entertain and raise awareness of important topics at the same time, as well as their strength and influence on society, establishes a common understanding among viewers, which I successfully demonstrated.

Speaking about my goals and plans for the future demonstrates my desire to offer fresh viewpoints and ideas while demonstrating my determination to succeed, which is just what I intended to convey to my audience.

WHAT COULD I HAVE DONE BETTER?

I could have thought of discussing tough times, turning points, or inspirational experiences that would have influenced my path and strengthened my love of films. I could have included a section on the difficulties and barriers I overcame and demonstrated my resolutions, or I could have discussed the setbacks and moments of doubt I encountered. It would also have improved my writing to outline the possible steps or projects I hope to participate in, by giving more particular information about how I intend to leave my mark.
